Description
Spinal stenosis occurs most often in the lower back and the neck, primarily driven by wear-and-tear changes in the spine related to osteoarthritis. As the spinal canal narrows, it compresses the spinal cord and nerve roots, leading to a cascade of neurological and musculoskeletal symptoms. It is most prevalent in adults over 50 years of age.
