Definition
Radiating nerve pain traveling down one or both legs.
Clinical Details
Often colloquially called sciatica, the compression of exiting spinal nerves sends sharp, shooting pain down the buttocks and legs. It is a direct mechanical result of bony overgrowth pinching the nerve.
