Description
A distal radius fracture is one of the most common bone breaks, almost always occurring when a person falls onto an outstretched hand. The impact forces the wrist backward, snapping the larger of the two forearm bones just above the wrist joint. This injury is highly prevalent in both active children and elderly individuals with weakened bone density.
