Discomfort or sharp pain in the joint connecting the hand and forearm.
Clinical Details
Pain is felt immediately at the time of injury and becomes a constant, dull ache localized deep within the wrist joint. The pain flares up sharply with any movement of the hand, especially bending the wrist backward or attempting to grip an object. The specific location of pain can help identify which ligament was stretched.
