Description
This dual-therapy approach targets the tough cell walls and RNA synthesis of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria. Using both drugs simultaneously significantly reduces the risk of the bacteria developing antibiotic resistance. Treatment must continue for several months to eradicate dormant bacteria completely.
