Small, elevated skin lesions containing visible accumulations of purulent, white cellular debris.
Clinical Details
As the intrafollicular inflammation intensifies, massive numbers of neutrophils rush in and rapidly die while attempting to clear the yeast. This fills the center of the papules with visible white pus, perfectly mimicking traditional bacterial acne.
