A visible, abnormal liquid discharge weeping from the external auditory meatus.
Clinical Details
The inflamed epidermal lining of the ear canal secretes a mixture of serous fluid, sloughed epithelial cells, and dense fungal debris. This discharge often appears thick, malodorous, and occasionally blackened by fungal spores.
