A localized pain or intense discomfort originating within the external ear.
Clinical Details
The rapidly expanding fungal mass and the associated inflammatory response put intense physical pressure on the highly sensitive skin of the ear canal. This results in a continuous, dull ache that worsens when the outer ear is pulled.
