Fleshy, friable growths projecting from the mucosal surface of the nasal cavity.
Clinical Details
The pathogen triggers intense mucosal hyperplasia, resulting in large, pink or purplish masses dotted with tiny white sporangia. These polyps are extremely friable and highly prone to mechanical trauma.
