Firm, shiny, raised fibrotic masses that extend beyond the original site of injury.
Clinical Details
The host mounts a dense, fibrous granulomatous reaction to the fungal yeast chains lodged in the dermis. These slow-growing masses perfectly mimic the appearance of giant keloid scars.
