A generalized eruption of small, raised skin lesions featuring central umbilication.
Clinical Details
Disseminated fungal yeast cells replicate within dermal macrophages, forming widespread, tiny bumps on the face and trunk. The central dimpling closely resembles the lesions seen in molluscum contagiosum.
