The passage of bloody urine without any accompanying discomfort or burning.
Clinical Details
Fragile neoplastic blood vessels on the surface of bladder tumors shear off easily during normal bladder contractions. This causes episodic, visible bleeding into the urine that is classically unassociated with the pain of an infection.
