Definition
Small, raised, solid inflammatory bumps scattered across the surface of the skin.
Clinical Details
These intensely red, pimple-like lesions form as localized granulomatous reactions around the sites where immature mites emerge onto the skin surface. They are classically distributed in the web spaces of the fingers, the flexor surfaces of the wrists, and around the waistline. In infants, the papular rash frequently involves the palms, soles, and face.
