The perception of two images of a single object, commonly known as double vision.
Clinical Details
The ingested neurotoxin is absorbed into the bloodstream and highly specifically targets the neuromuscular junctions of the delicate cranial nerves. It permanently binds to the presynaptic terminals, completely blocking the release of acetylcholine required to move the eye muscles. The brain is suddenly unable to align the eyes, severely disrupting normal vision.
