Clinical Details
The mucosal lining of the urethra becomes severely inflamed, swollen, and raw due to the bacterial invasion and immune crossfire. When acidic urine flows over this highly sensitized, damaged tissue, it triggers a sharp, agonizing burning sensation. It is typically the earliest clinical symptom that prompts infected males to seek medical treatment.
