Clinical Details
The pain is typically centered in the lower back and may radiate slightly into the buttocks, but it does not shoot down the legs like nerve pain. It is a deep, agonizing ache that acutely worsens with any bending, twisting, or lifting motions. Finding a comfortable resting position is often difficult.
