Shooting pain, tingling, or numbness due to nerve compression.
Clinical Details
The displaced head of the femur often crushes against the massive sciatic nerve running down the back of the pelvis. This causes a severe burning pain, tingling, or complete loss of sensation extending down the back of the thigh, calf, and into the foot. Prolonged compression can cause permanent neurological damage.
