Clinical Details
The patient will often feel a distinct, rough, or sharp edge on the broken tooth with their tongue. This jagged edge can cut or chronically irritate the soft tissues of the tongue, lips, or inner cheek, leading to secondary mouth ulcers. The missing piece of the tooth causes a clear visual deformity.
