Definition
Ache or sharp pain localized to the medial aspect of the knee joint.
Clinical Details
The pain is highly localized to the inside of the knee, right along the joint line where the ligament resides. It aches persistently and sends a sharp, catching pain when the knee is bent or subjected to sideways pressure. Pressing directly on the inner knee replicates the sharp pain.
