Clinical Details
If the broken vertebrae impinge upon the spinal nerves exiting the neck, the patient will experience shooting pain, tingling, or profound numbness radiating down the arms and into the fingers. This indicates severe nerve compression. A loss of motor control in the hands or arms is a grave warning sign.
