Definition
Rapid fluid accumulation on the back of the hand.
Clinical Details
The back of the hand quickly swells, often becoming puffy and obscuring the tendons that are normally visible under the skin. The swelling is accompanied by deep, dark bruising that may spread down into the fingers. The skin may feel tight and warm to the touch.
