Clinical Details
The pelvis houses a massive network of arteries and veins that are easily sheared by jagged bone fragments. This leads to massive internal bleeding into the pelvic cavity, causing the patient's blood pressure to plummet. Symptoms include pale skin, a rapid heart rate, confusion, and potential loss of consciousness.
