Clinical Details
Intense, sharp pain is felt precisely at the location of the break, and the finger aches constantly even when at rest. The pain spikes sharply if the finger is tapped at the tip or when trying to bend the joints. The area directly over the fractured phalanx is highly sensitive to palpation.
