Severe pain localized to the hip or groin region.
Clinical Details
The fracture causes immediate, excruciating pain deep within the groin or the outer, upper thigh. The pain is severely aggravated by any attempt to flex or rotate the hip joint. The patient is almost always completely unable to get up from the fall or put any weight on the leg.
