A reduction in the strength and power of the hand.
Clinical Details
Because the injured ligaments fail to properly stabilize the wrist joint, the biomechanics of the hand are compromised, resulting in a profoundly weak grip. Attempting to open a jar, turn a doorknob, or lift a heavy pan becomes difficult and painful. The wrist may also feel physically unstable or loose.
