Sudden, severe discomfort in the knee.
Clinical Details
The displacement of the bone causes excruciating, immediate pain as the supporting ligaments are aggressively torn. The pain radiates throughout the entire front of the knee and worsens if the patient attempts to move the leg. The intense pain often causes the patient to fall to the ground.
