A feeling of faintness or being close to passing out.
Clinical Details
As the spleen bleeds heavily into the abdomen, the patient's circulating blood volume drops rapidly, leading to hypovolemic shock. This sudden drop in blood pressure deprives the brain of oxygen, causing severe dizziness, confusion, and a fast, weak pulse. Without prompt surgical intervention to stop the bleeding, the patient will lose consciousness.
