Clinical Details
Bleeding is the most immediate symptom as the physical trauma shears through capillaries, veins, or arteries. Arterial lacerations result in bright red, spurting blood, while venous cuts produce a steady, dark red flow. The body will naturally attempt to clot the blood, but deeper wounds require pressure and medical intervention to stop hemorrhage.
