Definition
A conical protrusion of the central part of the front surface of the eye's lens.
Clinical Details
The capsule that surrounds and shapes the lens of the eye is severely weakened by the defective collagen network. The capsule bulges forward into the anterior chamber of the eye, significantly distorting vision and often requiring surgical correction.
