Hardening and tightening of the skin and connective tissues.
Clinical Details
The accumulation of toxic progerin alters the structural integrity of the dermis. The skin becomes very thin, wrinkled, and tightly stretched over the bones, with prominent scalp veins frequently becoming visible.
