Clinical Details
The cellular processes of tissue repair, including collagen synthesis, inflammation control, and cell proliferation, are all zinc-dependent. Without adequate zinc, the body cannot effectively knit tissues back together or fight off localized opportunistic bacteria. Even minor cuts or abrasions can linger for weeks without properly closing.
