Definition
An abnormally small penis that is structurally normal but significantly smaller than average.
Clinical Details
In males, the lack of GnRH stimulation during late fetal development and infancy results in a severe deficiency of testosterone. This lack of androgenic stimulation prevents the normal growth of the external genitalia. It is often one of the earliest clinical signs noted by pediatricians in affected male infants.
