A mechanical feeling of the joint briefly getting stuck or impeded during movement.
Clinical Details
Small flaps of the degenerated, torn cartilage can intermittently flip into the hinge mechanism of the knee. This causes a painful clicking or catching feeling when attempting to bend or straighten the leg.
