Sudden, brief, involuntary muscle jerks or spasms.
Clinical Details
As the cortex and basal ganglia degenerate rapidly, patients experience sudden, shock-like muscle twitches that can affect a single limb or the whole body. These spasms are often provoked by sudden noises or movements.
