Definition
A neurological syndrome in which language capabilities become slowly and progressively impaired.
Clinical Details
Depending on the subtype, patients may lose the ability to speak fluently, or they may lose the understanding of words entirely. Their speech can become hesitant, grammatically incorrect, or reduced to single words.
